NCTV PRIZE PRESENTATION
After three months nation wide search for unsurpassed logo design that will fit the New-fangled NCTV, the organizing committee
of Centre for Resource and Transformation (CERET) finally came to a conclusion and settled for this Logo designed by Ajilo John Temitope that would be representing the (Namibian Cultural and Tourism Village) at all times. CERET presented the winner of the competition Ajilo John Temitope with a check of N$5000 at The School of Hotel and Tourism Polytechnic of Namibia In Windhoek, on friday the 25th of September 2009.
According to the designer of the appealing logo, Ajilo John Temitope, said the logo depicts Namibia as a person making melodies with its stunning horn. The Namibian sun is also depicted as the head of the figure, symptomatic of direction as it shines light that pares way for the body while the figure shaped in form of the Namibian Map justifies the originality and potential of the logo as a true Namibian icon.
The project co-ordination of the NCTV Antoine Mbok and NCTV steering committee Member, Penda Kiyala, displays the newly designed NCTV logo to the guest and the journalist at the event. The Cultural village will be adjacent to the Etosha National Park, 18 kilometers outside Oshivelo in Oshikoto Region not far from The Etosha National Park.
